Adding Trailer Links to an existing Movie Collection Navigate to the root folder of the Movie Collection and focus on it and press the ‘Menu’ button on the remote and select ‘Add to Favourites’ then open the Favourites Screen and focus on the Movie Collection thumbnail you just made and press the ‘Menu’ button on the remote. Select option ‘Add Trailers’ and the X3D will scan your collection and add the Movie Trailers url’s from the tmdb api.

Adding Trailer Links to a Unscanned Movie Collection The procedure is the same as building a normal Movie JukeBox as the ‘Scan’ function will automatically add the Trailer url’s to the movie.name.xml files. Adding Trailer to existing Scanned Movies by ‘EDIT’ method. Open the Movie Sheet ‘about.jpg’ and press the ‘Edit’ button on the remote and select ‘Scrape’ and the X3D will list all available movies that match the movie folder name. Select the correct movies and edit the images and xml data as normal and then select ‘Save’. The Movie Trailer information will be saved to the movie.name.xml file.

How to Play a Movie Trailer. Movie Trailer functionality is supported in Movie JukeBox and in normal Media Library. Movie JukeBox Trailer Play Open the Movie Sheet (about.jpg) and you will see two new icons Movie Play and Trailer Play. Use the Left /Right Nav to select the icon and press ‘Enter’ to Play. To Returm to the Movie Info Sheet press the ‘Return’ button during Trailer Play.  Media Library Trailer Play Navigate the Movie Thumbnails and press ‘Info’ to open the Movie Sheet (about.jpg) and you will see two new icons Movie Play and Trailer Play. Use the Left /Right Nav to select the icon and press ‘Enter’ to Play.  To Returm to the Movie Info Sheet press the ‘Return’ button during Trailer Play.

Enable / Disable Movie Trailers You can enable or disablle the Movie Trailer Functionality in the X3D Setup Setup ----> Misc ---> Trailers  Option ‘on’/’off’

Movie Trailer Content The Movie Trailer functionality is based on YouTube and is a free service and you may well see adverts on certain trailers depending on the particular trailer or the region you are in. Pls respect this as the advertising generates the revenue required by YouTube to offer this as a free service.

Maintaing Movie Trailer Links on TMDB You tube Movie Trailer links can be added or updated to the TMDB database. We suggest you join the TMDB and assist in updating and maintaning these. The X3D uses the ‘Trailer’ tag so please make sure the Movie Trailer is saved correctly under this tag. Note: Changes on TMDB can take up to 24 hours to show on the api - so if changes are made please allow 24 hours untill you re-check it on the X3D.

Network Connectivity Movie Trailer and Scraping functionality requires that the X3D is connected to the internet via Lan or WiFi.
